Pissed.

I went to the theaters with my friend, and because he was bringing a date, we had to see The Last Song.
If you're expecting a review of the movie, skip ahead to the dvd reviews now, because you'll find no review of it here.
Since he brought three girls, he also asked me and another friend to come as well, a triple date. I bought the tickets, but he fell short on the popcorn. Dammit. All I came for is the popcorn.
So we walk in with these tiny drinks... ugh, and for 2 hours (it felt longer) all i hear is my friend MACKING on this chick. I stick my headphones in my ears and try to forget he was right next to me and that i was even there... sadly the volume only goes up so high. I pretended to be nice about the whole thing, but i would've done anything BUT that again. It was painful, and it only made the movie boring, i couldnt stand but 5 minutes of this stereo typical chickflik, but again mainly because of the people around me, so i lowered my hat over my eyes and TRIED to fall asleep. Oh god. Never again will i go to see a movie i have no intrest in it, popcorn or not.

This movie is terribly fun, and very cleverly put together, BUT, you like the cartoon world so much, seeing Bill Murray becomes annoying, but its a plot necessity. I can definately recommend this to any one who does NOT gross easily. This is a very crude movie, but also feels somewhat like a legitimate detective/action movie. Its a delicate balencing act that payed off here, how much it payed off depends on how much 'gross' you can take.

Milla Jovovich is reason enough to see this movie, she is undeniably sexy in this role. The design style is incredible, very very vibrant and colorful, and very unique. It has the action of a John Woo film, and the plot is devilishly clever too, i must say... vampires were unexpected. I shall say no more.

Sleek, fast, jam packed with stylish flashy action scenes and extravagant stunts Ultraviolet is a fine sci-fi not to be missed.

This is NOT a typical Van Damme movie. Almost no flashy action AT ALL, until the very end, but this isn't a bad thing, its a very gritty cop story laced with a sci-fi premise that really comes together beautifully. Van Damme plays duel roles as an insane serial killer, and a government science project who is a baby-like clone who will eventually 'remember' the real killer's murders, and possibly predict who is next. Van Damme really relys on his acting here, and even though it is strained, it is very convincing, and dare i say... endearing. This movie is very emotional and very well made. I loved it.

I love this movie, but i also know why many would despise it. Its outlandish and unorthodox sci-fi is vast and stretches to depths that a movie like this cant possibly tackle. To the layman and casual viewers the movie is painfully slow, and more confusing than a full season of Star Trek The Next Generation playing in reverse. However, visually it is a beautiful, simply gorgeous movie that is more of a medival fantasy tale unfolding in a vast sci-fi universe, there are dukes, barons, lords, royal houses etc.The fights are very unorthodox and interesting, and the end fight is very very satisfying. I cant say, DONT see it, and i cant say SEE it! Its a very complicated movie...

Highlander is a thrilling fantasy movie that spans generations and eras across time and epic battles with immortals, wars, and lots of swordplay. Its a romantic tale that also weaves in a level of "Terminator"-like suspense and an equally sinister villain. Its undeniably entertaining and very fun. See it.

The Good The Bad and The WTF?

I've seen alot of movies, but this one takes the cake. Aside from the fact it is WAY WAY OVERSEXED, its so visually beautiful and intense and spader makes a hell of a good looking lead... but what else was there in this movie? Dry acting? Contrived and BORING plot? Check.Check. Oh lord... please see this movie so next time you're bored you'd rather go sidewalk diving.

I can't find a reason NOT to like this movie. And i dont want to, i know if i looked deeper its probably shit, but i like it so much, i wanna keep it that way. I suggest you see it, from what i can tell, its a damn good flick with solid plot and lots of good acting, and to top it off we have sweet special effects with badass fight scenes! NUFF SAID!

The coolest, fastest, most adrenaline filled cop flik ever. Keanu actually is pretty badass once he slides into his role here, and Swayze is mutually awesome. Watching this movie reminds me of hard rock music, loud guns, fast cars, and sexy chicks... oh wait that IS the movie. Oh well *smile*
But there is SO much more depth here, psychology stuff, and male bonding, and shooting, and kissing, and shooting, and running, and shooting, and football, and... you got the picture.

Slow as it is, it will NOT lose your attention! Beautifully crafted story with so many twists you'll have to unscrew and re-attach your head by the end! Once of the best suspense/mystery movies ever. Hands down.
See it.
